I'm so, so sad to write this, but little Vicky lost her fight last night. The surgeons worked hard but with her heart problems plus her pnuemonia, she was just too weak, these are two messages her mum has posted to a site we use...
Our brave daughter lost her fight today Saturday at 6.15. The surgeon Mr Haw did everything he could. He was in tears which helped me (is that a strange thing to say). Thank you for all your kind words, gifts etc.
Vicky wouldnt want anyone to be sad. Please keep writing the good news. Our love to you all. Dianexx
AND then after some messages of condolences to them all, she wrote this too...

Thank you. This site is bringing so much joy to me at this time. 1.10 and I can not sleep. When Vicky left infant school they gave me a video called A year with Vicky at Hazelwood. I have just watched it. It made me laugh. I wish you could all see Vicky dancing at her leavers disco, she looked lovely. Her skirt was always falling down and she had a special way of hooking it back up.
I am so glad to have shared 11 lovely years with a daughter I was proud to call Victoria. Vicky was a very special child and she touched so many people.
One of her last words were tell Danielle I love her lots. I miss her but we will get through this. Danielle one day you will read this and I want you to know you are a very very special young lady and I am proud to call you my daugther too.
Sleep tight sweetpea I love you. mumxxx
I'm just heartbroken for them - such a lovely family and I'm sure their belief in God is all that is getting them through at the moment.
Janet, I know you especially didnt want to hear this news and I did think twice about posting it but with so many people praying for her I thought I should let everyone know what had happened.
I actually got the message through about her passing while I was chatting to you this morning and I'm afraid I just took myself offline from you as I just couldnt tell you something like that at 3am your time when you were so worried about Katie too. So sorry honey!
Thankyou all for praying for Vicky! Everyones thoughts really do mean a lot to Diane (her mum),
Love Emma
