Hello, This is Anne-Marie's sister posting. Anne-Marie wanted me to let everyone know that her surgery went very well. She had the surgery Thursday morning and is making good progress. She may be home as early as Tuesday but more likely it will be Thursday of next week.

Unfortunately due to the SARS crisis no one in the family has been allowed to visit. We have talked to her on the telephone though and she is sounding very optimistic and relieved that the surgery is over.

I'm sure she'll be posting as soon as she is able to sit at a computer again.:)

Thank you, Susan!

Thank you, Susan!

Thanks so much for posting the result of Anne-Marie's surgery. I thought it was just the children who couldn't visit. It's quite sad that no one can go. Please tell Anne-Marie hello and welcome to the other side of the mountain for us. I'm sure she'll be much happier when she gets home.

That's wonderful news! Tell her BIG congratulations and we'll all be waiting for her first post. I'm sure the whole family is so happy.

What a shame about SARS causing so many problems. It must be hard for her to not have family there.

Take care,

All Right!

All Right!

Susan, thanks for posting for Anne-Marie. Have taken a special interest in her surgery since we both sat in the "waiting room" at the same time.

Anne-Marie, the wait is over! I'm 2 1/2 weeks post-op now. Couple of bumps but overall going forward. Don't be surprised if that happens also. Soon you'll be home in your "island paradise" recovery room watching the Senators win the Stanly Cup! Look forward to getting your post when you feel up to it.

Hello Susan

Please give Anne-Marie our very best wishes. We're both so very glad she made out ok. Chat with her often, and please tell her her vr.com friends are all hoping she's out of there very soon. How sad that you can't visit her---on the good side, she will get plenty of rest, which she needs after that surgery. She is in and will continue to be in our prayers.

Thank you, Susan. We always wait to hear about our family member who is having surgery. It is so good to know she is through it and on the way to a nice recuperation. She'll be sore, but even so, she is BETTER! And on the way to good health again. Please give her my best wishes and congratulations. Tell her I hope the truck missed her.

Great!!

Great!!

Thanks Susan for the update on Anne-Marie! I have been thinking about her, wondering how things were going.

Anne-Marie, I'm glad you've made it "over the mountain" and are doing well. I'll say an extra prayer this evening that you will be united again with your family very, very soon!

Julia:)

Susan, thanks for letting us know that one more of the flock made it safely to the other side of the mountain.

Please tell Anne-Marie that we are patiently (pun?) awaiting her triumphant return to tell the tales of her conquest.

Congratulations Anne Marie! I was so glad Susan let us know your surgery had gone well. I can't wait to hear how everything went for you. Please post as soon as you feel well enough.

Susan - It's great that Anne-Marie is out of surgery and doing well. She is over 24 hours and might even be out of the ICU by now. Please tell her we are hoping for an easy recovery and quick exit from the hospital.

Susan,

Please let Ann Marie know we are all thinking of her here at vr.com! :) I'm so happy to hear she is doing well and will be home soon.

Congrats!

Congrats!
