Well Andrew continues to do well. We are planning on going home Monday. He is so looking forward to that. We had been trying to decide whether in patient OT would be good for him but he did so well today that we don't think it is necessary. He did stairs! Can you believe it?
Andrew's CV nurse has been working so hard to coordinate all his follow ups with the different specialists. I think I counted 6 but could be off. Some are one time only and others like cardiology obviously will be on going for a while.
Things are winding down and so far everything looks really good.
Andrew wrote a neat poem with random words. If he lets me I will share it here sometime. He was quite clever. He had to take cards with words on them and flip them one at a time and write a line before flipping the next. He was challenged fom Eric from Snow City Arts or something like that and Andrew rose to the challenge.
We went out briefly but it was a little chilly for him. We will try again tomorrow. He went to the cafeteria for the first time as well and we grabbed a snack.
Not much else to share.
