I'll say off the bat there were also some articles that seemed to address the "pumphead" effect of being on bypass during surgery, might be worth looking at for those that REALY want to read medical terminology which is almost as bad as "legalease."

The abstact says the study compaired results to see if kids with TGV develop brain damage (mild stuff like a learning disorder or poor memory function which seems to be fairly common in most congenital heart desease patients who've had surgery early in life) before their first surgery or afterwards...
I was "diagnosed" in middle school with a mild learning disability though I was "declassified" in high school at my request. Since I've started going back to school, I've been thinking about going back to that stuff and seeing if there's more to be considered.
Also giving some more consideration towards genetic testing to see if there's a specific cause to my CHD and, possibly, the chance I might pass it on genetically to any offspring...
