These were the words of Nathan's cardiologist at his pre-op visit on Sept 28. We reflected on these words many times that night before his surgery....

Nathan goes back to work tomorrow, his DOT physical approved today. This will be his first day back since his diagnosis of endocarditis back on July 15th 2005. Thank you all for helping both of us through these past 6 months.

Nathan, Ann and Kids :D

I would say that Nathan

I would say that Nathan

looks like one VERY healthy guy! And what a happy and beautiful-looking family. May God continue to bless you with many years of health for the whole family!

Isn't VR.com wonderful? Such happy and giving people. I don't know how I would have got through the last two years without these new "heart" friends on VR.com.

Talking about being blessed! Beautiful family- can tell the dog's a loved family member too! Best of luck to Nathan and praying that he finds returning to his normal life rewarding and healthy.:)

Congratulations! You made it through a very trying time and I'm sure you're all much stronger for it. And much more aware of how precious life really is.

All the best,
Randy

You guys look great, happy and having a wonderful time. I hope all goes well with Nathan's return to work and 2006 is a perfect year.

With that DOT physical approval, sounds like Nathan will get back to what he enjoys most. Good News.

Good looking family too. But y'all can keep that snow. Don't want none down here.:D

May God Bless,

Danny

I want snow....:D

not much chance of that here though...rats...enjoy it for us wont you now....my boys would adore that snow...I cant wait to show em the piccy...

God Bless you all

Oh yeah.... we want to hear how his first day went back on the JOB!...

Well he made it though day one! Nathan (driver for UPS) had to drive with his boss in the passenger seat all day, going over all the new safety rules...and I think that wiped him out more than the work did ;)

I was able to restrain myself and not call him once yesterday!! Ross is never going to believe that one :D

He loved the warm wishes....and Christina's observations especially!

Aussie...you bring those boys here anytime for snow fun! I will take some of your warm sunshine!

Gee how hard was that...?...:D ;)

to NOT call him for a WHOLE day especially this most auspicious one!...
I would have been pacing that floor all-day

I bet Nathan was the centre of attention all-day and even more so when he cruised into home after his first day back...

well done...

P.S. ...as soon as I win LOTTO I am flying the whole crew over to get a turn on that snow AND that 4WD youre on there ...we just dont get that much snow here...and we shall bottle some of our lovely sun for you to enjoy!

Take it easy

Take it easy

Nathan,

Great news!!! Don't overdo it. Take it easy for the first couple of weeks at least.

Jack

Welcome Back!

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the working world! Thanks for sharing that picture--it's so fun to see the folks on the list and their families. I'm so glad to hear Nathan's doing well and is back to work. And I'm so proud of you for being able to hold back and not check up on him all day! I'm not sure I'd have been able to do it!

*raises eyebrow slightly*

Wait ... Nathan is a driver for UPS? I take it he doesn't have any weight lifting restrictions? I applied for a job with UPS ... but was told I'd have to lift at least 100 lbs ... a feat I cannot do :(.

Aye.
