an update and going to take a break

Hello all I had my tests today and talked with my cardiologist. he was in Chicago, but called me from his cell phone. He was very supportive about the weekend and is going to talk to the surgeon and see what we can do to move the date up into July. This was Dr. Siegels request all along. My tests all went well and I am feeling much better. My BP today was 102/68. pulse of 54. This is much better. I hope to inform you all of a sooner date and will do so if it gets changed.

I am going to take a break and try to focus on keeping my attitude where it belongs. I am a little obsessive and have spent too much time on the VR site. I love you all and have gained much from the advice given, but I am going to just check in every once and awhile to see how every one is doing. Any of you who are emailing me feel free to keep doing so. God bless you all and I will check in if I have a new date.

glad to know that your test checked out. I'm also thankful that their looking into moving you up.
I also will probably not be on as much as I'll be getting ready to go on Wed.

I just wanted to say that with so many going in this week, I just couldn't handle it if something happened to one of you. i need to keep my stress level down to a minimum. I will pray for all of you and look forward to reconnecting on the other side. Thanks again for being such supportive and wonderful friends.

I understand that you want to take a break...With me going in next Friday, I could not handle it if I heard that someone did not fare well! My heart would definitely be broken then! Keep us posted as to whether or not you get a new date and I'm so thankful to hear that they are taking such good care of you.

And, just from my own experience.....I went in to OHS with Aussigal as my "buddy". We were merely hours apart in surgery. Mine was textbook, hers was hell. My husband reported to me about her while I was in the hospital and at that point she was really having a tough time. I was very glad to be aware of things because I felt that the power of my thoughts (prayers) might be helping her. She was in my thoughts constantly....so much so that maybe I worried about myself less.

You do what you need to do. We'll be here no matter what!! And we will be thinking of you!

Enjoy the time you gain from this break!! Do something special with it!!
