Hi, I'm wondering if you can help me. In December I went in for a PVR replacement. First they game me to much anesthia and they had alote of trouble waking me up. Then come to find out I guess my heart was in pretty bad shape because they had to rebuild my whole pulmonary artery they did that with a human tissue valve. Unfortunatley the leak is still there. They also said I had a stroke during the surgery but recovered completley. Now they say that I have a kink in an artery in the right side of my heart they want to go in with a catater and stent and open it. I don't know if I want this after nine days of hell in the hospital. I seem to be doing O.K. it has been seven weeks and I am back to work part-time. I am taking some meds. One of the problems is I am self employed and the medical bill are adding up I have a high deductible insurance. One Dr. was with me for maybe 5 minutes and is charging $440. I don't know I am just getting depressed that my heart was so bad and all the bills. Anyone got some similar stories? Has anyone had thier Pulmonary artery rebuilt and lived to tell about it? Thanks Cecily
