I do hope all of you run some sort of complete system virus scan on your pc's at least once a week. If you don't have one and need a freebie online, go to http://us.mcafee.com/root/mfs/default.asp and run a scan of your complete computer.

The reason I'm posting this here is that someone who has me in their address book is infected with the Sobig virus and it's sending email out as myself. Judging from the emails that are getting bounced back TO me, this person has to have some sort of experience in the medical field, as I just got one from a scrubs company (http://www.scrubsxpress.com/Default.htm), has an address book with lots of educational facilities such as NGSCU and a couple of others.

If you haven't checked your pc for viruses since this latest outbreak of some really nasty viri, would you please do so, so that we can get you cleaned up and I can stop getting hundreds of bounced email messages please.

Thank You!

No virus can pass through Private Messages as of yet. Yes, by all means, if you have a neat program to share with the rest of us we appreciate hearing about it. Remember, this is "Small Talk
Here is where you can say whatever you like whenever you want to say it." I've tried Mailwasher before. While it doesn't suit my needs, it may someone else.

I am getting those sobigs, too. Yesterday I got 5 - today, only 2. My Norton catches them, and quarantines them, then delete. I always run a scan after this stuff, just as a checkup. Ran it today and all is well, but if you have an anti-virus program, be sure it updates constantly - like Norton does and I think McAfee does, too. I see the little notification of 'update' every time they update mine.
