Hi Everybody,

I know I have only been on here to complain but do read it faithfully everyday. Have finally had time to sit back and figure out the site a little better rather than to just read. I am so grateful for all the info I have found on this site. Really don't know what I would have done without all you fine folks. I am 5 months out now and never thought it would take this long to feel this good. Once they resolved the migraine issue I don't believe I have felt this good in years. I do want to thank all of you who responded to all my grumbling. I am now going to try and pass on some of my experiances. I know I will be doing this all again. Still am wondering if I should of had the mechanical but that is all in the past. One thing is for sure. If I had to do it all over again I would have reseached it much more before jumping into it. The medical profession doesn't even touch on what really happens.

;)Barb

Glad to hear you're on the road to being 100% normal again.

I've often thought that all cardiologists & cardio surgeons should have OHS. They'd understand their patients a lot better. :D

hi Barb-

Sounds as if things are smoothing out for you and so nice to hear that you are feeling so well. Good for you!

Oh but isn't that the truth and it sure wouldn't hurt some of the Cardiac Nurses either. You know, the ones that just can't be bothered with anything?

Sometimes I think a Dr. (and a Testy Cardiac) needs a good rap on the beazer and a stiff FIA. They might have went to school for half their life and be in debt the other half to get where they are, but when it comes down to it, they arent the patient and what normally or is supposed to happen rarely does (at least for me). If they would get their fingers out of their nose and Swabs outaa their ears they could catch unexpected problems earlier just by listening. Granted there are Dr's who do that, and they are the ones who have the respect of their peers and paitents because they are a much better Physician because of it.

Right After my surgery they started in on the deep breathin spill. they dont tell you each big breath is followed by at least 1 cough and that sucks really bad. I told them I wasnt doing it now it hurt too bad and I wasnt ready. I did tell them to give me a bench mark of how deep a breath, and a date, and I would have his deep breatin complete and maxing it out. He didnt like it when I told him if he wanted someone to suck on that tube right then, he better get his chapstick out cause I wasnt.

Barb,

Good to hear from you and happy to hear how great you feel. It sure makes a difference "don't it"?

Hope the migraines stay under control. Don't you just love the TV commercial that has the meteor coming through the ceiling and hitting the migraine sufferer. Someone with migraines wrote that one.

Take care.
