I thought this rated some merit. Joe was put on Aldactone along with his Lasix to get rid of the ascitic fluid from his disastrous gallbladder surgery. It did a great job and is continuing to work very well indeed.
He has CHF and in the past has been on only Lasix, with Zaroxolyn when he got into trouble. But the combination of Lasix and Aldactone has been terrific. I can't detect any fluid at all in his ankles or anywhere else. He's feeling much better. I'll keep you posted on how this combo is continuing to work.
This might be a good combo for those who have CHF.
By the way, Joe had his cardiology appt. yesterday and he got a great checkup. The cardiologist thinks he's amazing.
His repaired heart is doing fantastically well. It held up superbly through some of the very, very difficult things that have happened recently. It speaks volumes to the skills of Dr. DePan.
