Gee, Thanks, Ann.:( :( :(

It's not bad enough that I've been flunking the cyberspace IQ tests for weeks; now you've come up with another one for me to shake my head at and say, "It doesn't mean a darn thing to me."

So how dumb am I?

*only Ann is allowed to answer --everybody else quit gathering around to chime in*

I haven't a clue, Ann but it kind of expresses the overwhelming feelings I have right now that I only have Monday and Tuesday to prepare for 11 on Thanksgiving Thursday- I wish Monday and Tuesday would last a week! - time to go to bed and rest up!

NO COMMENT!!!!!!!:D :D :D Didn't think I would allow that to pass, did you?:D

Ann,

Around these here parts that would mean a week from Monday, a week from Tuesday, etc.

Another way would be "NEXT" Monday, "NEXT" Tuesday, etc. which is different from "THIS" Monday, "THIS" Tuesday, etc.:D

WHAT WAS THE QUESTION????

May God Bless,

Danny

Same here, although it gets confusing if you're saying it on a Monday/Tuesday etc! It's Monday today. To me, next Monday would be 28th Nov (ie the next Monday in the future), and Monday week would be 5th Dec. Of course, it's always confused me too so maybe I'm wrong. Ask me again Wednesday week ;) .

Gemma.

Me thinks..Ann ( hensyllee) got into the eggnog early..:D :D :D Or maybe the cooking sherry?:p :p :p Bonnie

Bonnie, you know exactly what it is. It is in your southern soul. Right, Danny?

A week Monday is said in the UK? Wow, I guess that's where it started.

It means a week from the Monday (or Tuesday, etc) that is coming up. Like a week Friday would mean a week from the coming friday.

My dear Joe asked me what it meant after a repairman had been to the house and said he'd be back a week Monday. Joe didn't have a clue, bless his New York heart. When I asked him when the repair guy was coming back, he just said "I don't know. He said something like next week or week Monday - what's that mean, anyhow"

Eggnog? No, I don't use it. My folks used to make it from eggs and cream when we were small - and add whiskey. I can't, to this day, stand the smell of raw eggs! Ugh The store stuff is way too rich for my arteries.
