Thanks for sharing. How right it is that our "addiction" to certain websites is hard to explain to someone who has never experienced it. We are often viewed as people who cannot make friends elsewhere or somehow lacking in knowledge of the "real" world. In fact, websites make the world smaller and allow us friendships that would otherwise be impossible.

Gave me a lump in my throat. It really is hard for people to understand that these online friendships just aren't make-believe.

Thanks, Ross!

Thanks, Ross!

That was really nice Ross! Especially because I was headed somewhere else and suddenly realized I needed a "friend fix" from my online community so I turned around and plunked right down at the computer and there it was, this sweet little truth we have all discovered.

I do consider you all my friends, and I am very grateful to have you!! You've helped me more than anyone else could have.

I just came in here to post what Ross posted - I am going to post it anyhow.

This morning I received the lovliest email from Ross and Evelyn and felt they said 'forward it' so I have come in here to share it with all our VR family:

the rest is what Ross said.

I really appreciate you guys taking me in, esp. since I wasn't even sure I belonged. You've been wonderful.

My son asked me a few days ago why I go on this website since I don't have a "heart problem?" I had to stop and think. I came upon the forum by accident, while searching for information on mitral regurgitation. Since then, I feel I've really become a part of things around here, and want to keep up with how folks are doing.

I feel sad when someone says they're struggling, and elated when someone says they've reached or surpassed a goal.

Thanks for opening your arms and "hearts" to me.:)
