We had a busy day here in southwest indiana with friends burning up the all terrain vehical trails, some wine and cheese, then a short trip south to eat supper at a local diner. We had a short but heavy rainfall late in the afternoon, and the trip home from the restaurant was spectacular. The sky was still a light blue despite the setting sun and the sky was splashed with orange clouds like a painter had carefully used his pallet to entertain us. As we approached a peak in the county road we could see the cows and a few deer in the fields below us as the fog began to mist on the low lands. The approach to the farm is through a narrow county road with pine trees that arch overhead on both sides. Far ahead we could see an opening, but it was full of fog and presented a mystic end to a perfect day. God is good to south central indiana and I wanted to share that with all of you.
