The grudge match is over. Ellie thought it should be a tie, and Grampa, as the combination Commissioner and referee granted (as he often does) her request. Our border collie Missy actually does leap high in the air to strike the ball with her nose. They had a lot of fun, and I got this picture after things calmed down.
