The one of the right should be fairly obvious. Who is the person on the left?

Al's hint was a big one. I attended his seminar, and it was very informative. Enjoyed lunch with him as well.
I'll take him somewhere a little nicer, but it will be noisier too.
*raises eyebrow curiously*
It will be noisier because of you two....or the crowd at the nicer place in general?
Glad you two got to meet up, Al and Oaktree!

So did you hear any surprises or new info you can pass along? How nice that you got to meet The Yoda of Warfarin in person! (And I'm talking intelligence - not looks!)Al's hint was a big one. I attended his seminar, and it was very informative. Enjoyed lunch with him as well.
The bioggest surprise was for the waitress who commented that she had never taken a picture of two men before!!
Remember, he was talking to a group of warfarin managers. Several times in several different ways, he made the point that it is better to be a bit above range than a bit below, and at those times, I felt kind of a thick silence in the room.
well I guess we have to work within the constraints of the IQ's of the jurists, don't we?
Blood is what they are frightened of. Blood is gastly! Blood is messy! Blood must stay in the body at all costs. Coumadin threatens them because it may possibly cause them to see blood! . Strokes aren't nearly as messy. One of the things Al said at the conference, and I'm paraphrasing, is that we're giving this drug for the express purpose of preventing clots, so lets give enough of the drug to do that. If we don't prevent clots, then there was no reason to give the drug at all, we did not help the patient, and the whole thing was a waste.
