A look at the new neighbors...............

Bill & I took a ride out to the Cloudcroft/Timberon area (to the East of us) to go look at some mountain property that we are hoping to buy & just as we were leaving, a group of curious onlookers took a peek at us............

I hear ya. I inquired as to the elevation & it's right at about 7200 ft. The Cloudcroft area, which is a ski resort, is about 9,000 so we decided that would probably not be the best area for me.

I did real good up there yesterday & all the roads have pretty good access in case of an emergency.

The roads are good Ross & there's lots of ATV's & modes of transportation (not the Mexican ambulance, I promise ) as well as a small fire dept there so if you & Lynn want to be our neighbors, we'd love to have you!!

Cloudcroft is beautiful! I was there about 6 years ago at a astronomy inn (New Mexico Skies). Stayed there for a few days and really enjoyed it!

We counted 10 actually, big ones, little ones, but they all scattered before I got my camera ready.
