Hi everyone,

How are you all doing?!

I'm doing really well. After a few disappointments (i.e. infections) I am now home, making up plans for the future. I was officially discharged November 30th, am to join a post transplant rehabilitation program in January. I have grown strong enough the past weeks that I now have enough energy to get through a day without napping and feeling so well in general that I have begun contemplating when it would be possible to return to work again.

Have a merry Christmas and a HAPPY new year everyone

:D !

Wow, Wow Jessica-

That is beyond belief! I remember your posts from the presurgery days and we were all hoping for you just to survive, but now!!!

You are a true miracle. May you have a marvelous Christmas and may your New Year be filled with nothing ever to worry about.

Back to work soon? What kind of work do you do, I forgot?

Take good care of yourself and have a great holiday.

Wow Jessica - You are doing great! Many prayers have been answered.

Keep us posted on your progress as you are our one and only heart transplant patient and we are proud to know you.

Hi Jessica - A few folks in here bring tears to my heart - and you are one of them. Have followed your journey from day one and witnessed your miracle along with others on this site. You are a real inspiration. When anyone is down, they should read your and Zazz's posts. Then they can only be thankful for their good fortunes - as you and Zazzy are. God bless and keep you

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays

Hey Jessica,

So glad to hear from you, dear. Best wishes of continued up days, months, years! Keep us posted, trooper!

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

Thanks :) !

I will certainly make the best of each and every minute.
It has been a journey - very hard at times - and it was far from a given that I would survive. When I was told in August I only had months to live my foremost aim was seeing my niece celebrate her first birthday on December 25th. Well, December 25th is Tuesday and I have made it :D ! My family asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said nothing, just being alive will be enough for me for many years.

A Very Merry Christmas to All of You!
