I know what you mean, Ross. We had a friend comment on a particular bible verse and that a scholar had written a 1000+ page commentary on that verse alone. Tom (my husband) immediately replied that that was so like man.........to take a nice clear verse and muddy it all up!

I love the KISS motto. Keep it simple stupid!

Shelby Foote wrote three volumes (1,000+ pages) on the Civil War. During a television interview, he said it only took four years to fight the War; it took him 20 years to write about it!

Thanks Ross.

Kraut is kraut is kraut . . .

Kraut by any other name would smell . . . like kraut.

Ross, I can relate to that!

I work for the Feds. It is crazy the voluminous reports and directories and things they mail to our office - what a waste. I laugh histerically at the "paperwork reduction act". Our leave slip went from a 3 inch by 6 inch slip of paper to an 8 1/2 by 11 size piece of paper several years ago, under the paperwork reduction act. What gives?
