I just have to tell a story on Katie, GIJanet's daughter.
Last night some of us in the Dallas-Fort Worth area got together for dinner. Katie may be a 7-year-old who has 5 heart surgeries "under her shirt," as her mom says in her signature line, but she is a bundle of energy. While we adults ate and visited, Katie wanted to play charades.
Terms of the game: Katie does the charade. Whoever guess correctly has to pose the next charade.
Her dad won one time and proceeded to run two outstretched fingers from one wrist up to one shoulder and then did the same on the other arm, except he stopped at the middle of the forearm. He kept pointing to his wrist and the middle of the other forearm.
Katie's answer: A medicalert bracelet!
Of course, we broke out laughing. Now, how many 7-year-olds know what a medicalert bracelet is?
She did NOT win. The correct answer was shirt sleeves (or some variation of that).
