Well we took my boyfriend back to the Dr yesterday for a checkup and things are looking up! The pacemaker has been kicking in some to help his heart however it appears his heart has not stopped beating at all! The Dr released him for work however since he is an auto mechanic he will be on light duty as he cannot lift and pull as he could pre surgery but he is excited to get out of the house for a change. He is not taking several of the medications he was on before so that's always good news, he is now taking a few that he was not before however they are vitamins and things for discomfort if he has any at any time. He did explain to the Dr the strange symptoms he has been feeling lately however the Dr seems to think it is completely normal since he is only 4 months post opp and he could continue to feel this way for a year or more, depending on his heart and how well he takes care of himself. He truely is a miracle as is everyone on this site. It's so comforting to read all the success stories on this site, between that and prayer it's the only hope we have had in several months. We pray that he will continue to improve and hope that we may in some way be able to help others that have been through what he has been through. It's tough to know that at 26 years old he almost lost his life but thanks to modern medicine, a wonderful surgeon, and faith in God he is still here and doing great!
