A friend of mine at SG has a son who has been through 3 surgeries appears to be having syncopial episodes now. He totally collapsed yesterday, knocking out 3 front teeth and really messing himself up. They don't know what the cause is as of yet. They're putting him on a Holter monitor tomorrow.

Anyhow, Chris has a web page dedicated to his son and I thought I'd share it with all of you. If you get red x's where the pictures are supposed to be, just right click them and choose "show picture" from the drop down menu.

Ross,

I think this is a reminder to all of us "mature" heart patients that we are the lucky ones - we made it this far before having problems. Bless his heart. He will be in my thoughts and prayers. Such a good-looking young boy. He will have a lot of life yet to live, but it is sad to see children with problems like this - it really makes it hard on them relating with their peers and feeling a part of the "normal" crowd. You know, I guess we all on this board can relate to that last thought also, huh?

Chris

You don't cry til you see those baby eyes looking directly at you. And the the last picture is such a wonderful surprise and makes you smile. My prayers are with this boy and I bet he will do fine again. Please let us know, Ross?
