When I left the good folk at VR last week-end, there were 213,200 posts. I see that we now have 213,213 posts. . . .come on! I've spent the week swimming the English Channel and now I have to bolster the forum posts! No rest for the wicked, I guess!

Everything went really well. I hate to be too positive, because I've learned that things can change quickly, but my recovery has been almost picture perfect. The vent was NO DEAL, and actually, it was probably the easiest thing of all.
I've run a low grade fever, but I seem to be handling it with no antibiotics.
I came home on 325mg enteric coated aspirin and three days of Lasix. That's it! No bouts of afib yet, so I consider myself blessed beyond measure.
The surgeon, cardiologist, hospital staff were tremendous, and very positive and professional.

I missed everyone, but Toy Lynn kept me informed as to what was going on, and Bonnie talked to Bob and let him know what was happening on her end of the country. It appears that things are pretty much running the way they usually do.

I'm off to read the mail and visit with the kids awhile. I'll probably hit CHAT about 5, so I'll see some of you then.
