Feeling soooo much better today that I wanted to tell everyone! This morning my nurse let me skip the diuretic/potassium pills to see if that was contributing to my dizziness. It seems to be working, but not sure what it means. I don't know if I can totally eliminate those meds yet...fingers crossed! I also have to say that I love the daily contact with my surgeon's clinical nurse even though I've been out of the hospital since Sunday. She has been awesome regarding med changes and such.

Oh I'm so happy to learn that you are starting to regain your normal self. I say just keep doing what you have been doing. Soon all this will be but a memory and you will be able to sit back and enjoy your little angel. Best Wishes To You and Your Family.

Wonderful! Keep passing on the good news (and of course any news).

It's wonderful that you have such close contact with a clinical nurse. It sort of reminds me of the difference between obstetric and midwife care, and I wonder why more people don't have such personal care, at home, after such a big surgery. Healing happens so much faster when you are in a comfortable and safe environment, and what better place for that than at home?

Cause for celebration
