8 days and back home

Just wanted to let everyone know I am home from hospital. The surgery took longer than exspected. I had a large amout of calcification. The first valve was put in then removed. The second valve fit good but during surgury they came up misssing some sort of suture called a plagett. They never found it so there was concern for a while. Dr. wasnt sure if they were counted wrong or suctioned up. I am feeling great. I am able to sleep in my bed. I usually wake up in about 4 hours and take a pain pill but it is not bad. I am now trying to get inr in range. It was 2.1 and needs to be at least 2.5.Hope every one is well. Thanks for all the info you give to people. K Chit

I'm glad you are home and in your own bed! I remember when I got home and slept in my own bed. It was a memorable step in my recovery, to be out of the hospital, to be home! Things just felt more, right, I guess you could say.
