Just had my 7 year echo/follow up. No change!:D All is well. He is keeping me on the 2 year echo plan. He made comment "again" that 20 years should go by before we need to worry about replacing the valve. He also said
"live your life" Do what you want. The valve should just be background noise at best.

Thanks to all of my VR buddies. For supporting me over the years! Could not have done it all without you!

Congratulations on such a positive follow up. Two year intervals for echocardiograms sound good to me!:)

Congratulations Gina!

But I'm hoping you'll get much more than 20. I'm at 14 + and still looking good. Twinmaker is at 24 and counting. I'm thinking your card is just being very cautious about the longevity.

Hear you about the caution on longevity. That would bring it to between 27-30 years.....which from what I can gather is about normal. Until that time.......living life!:)

Gina,

Congrats on such a good report.

I plan on getting 50 years out of my valve at the very least. I figure that puts me at 92 and I would be very happy if I was still around to have to worry about replacement at that point.:D :D ;) ;)

Congratulations Gina!!

Congratulations Gina!!

I would guess also that you will get more than 20 years out of your valve!

God bless and I am so happy for your great medical report! An echo every two years - I'm jealous!!

Way to go Gina...

Way to go Gina...

Congrats Gina.:D :D :D .. I am glad that everything is going well for you after 7 years. I think your cardio is rather conservative in how long the valve will last. I hope to get 30+ years out of mine. So far it's lasted 5 years.
I have my bi-yearly echo this month as well.
Hoping for a good report like yours.

Hugs,

Hey Gina,
Congratulations on such a Good Report! I knew you would pass with flying colors.:)
I am with the rest, it is Party Time:D
Take Care

CONGRATULATIONS!!! What good news. Wow, 7....a good number. May you have triple that again. I can't believe Tyce has been 3+ years. He just got his report in January and our cardio said he's better than ever....thank God.

Enjoy yourself, and treat yourself with a great surprise.

Evelyn

awesome!

Congrats to you Gina!!!!! That gives me hope!!! Have a wonderful life:)

Gina...only one thing wrong in your post -- it's not "background noise" -- it's background MUSIC..:D

Conga-rats on number 7 and I'm not far behind you. Gosh, doesn't the time fly when you're having fun....:D

Now, on to Chicago next month and by the way -- what's the entertainment? Any C&W dancehalls up there in Yankeeville?;)
