Six years ago I joined the Zipper Club and Rat Poison Fraternity.

Today, on my 6th valveversary, a friend is undergoing AVR + MV repair + PFO closure.

I told her that June 24 was very lucky for me. I hope it will be for her too.

Please keep Toni in your thoughts and prayers.

I had a phone call and saw a post about my friend who had surgery today. If I heard right, she now has a 22mm mechanical valve -- have not heard the mfr. Doctors did not have to repair the mitral and there was no PFO. Some time ago, I gave her a lot of links to articles on vr.com. She did look at them and found them very helpful.

Perhaps she will visit us when she's home.
