I am doing well now. I am walking about a mile daily and my heart feels great!
Really, the only part that still hurts is my chest tube area (4 tubes in and out)
and my rib cage front & back. I have been taken off 3 more drugs, so only now on metoprolol and coumadin, and baby aspirin. No more lung crackles, no swelling, and my latest echo looked great. Interesting that the echo tech said he could tell it was a Dr Miller surgery, that each surgeon has his or her own signature. I am looking forward to driving again hopefully in another week, and I really want to start more exercising than just walking, too.
So to all you that have recently had surgery, yay, we made it, and continue to heal and feel better!!

Great news Gail!! Love it when we hear those good stories about feeling good after surgery. Keep up the walking and continue having a smooth recovery.:)

That is great news Gail... Glad to hear recovery is going well. Helps us in the waiting room to hear about such good news.

Great news! Glad to hear the recovery is going well! I was at Stanford the week before you. Dr. Craig Miller repaired my aortic aneurysm on Feb 12! Love him!! Wishing you a continued speedy recovery!
