Hey Rich, I like that one.. i'll have to save that in my favorite quotes file..
my forth plans do not involve those types of libations.. flood waters permitting, I plan on dusting off my 35mm and taking some pics at our hot air balloons during our local park festivities.. along with taking some pics of the fireworks there as well..

And please remember that your dog may be horribly frightened by firecrackers etc..more dogs run away during this season than any other time.
If your pup is skittish, please put him/her in a safe area....

our area is under a level 4 fire restriction and the only thing acceptable around here are sparklers (I really think even they can be dangerous- it takes only one spark to start a fire). We are having many fires. But for those of you who have fireworks, enjoy. Celebrate our nation's birthday. Ever watch the PBS display from Washington, D.C.? It's just glorious.

In my son's 15 years working with law Enforement....he has never had the 4th off..ALL..have to be on call.....so..watch out..they will be around every corner..on roads, ect...Click It (seat belts) or Ticket it..
.We bought enough food to last thru next week. NO way..even thinking about going out.... all 3 roads leading up here will be bumper-to-bumper...(2 lane, curvy roads)...Coming for tubing on River..and a new waterpark opened last week....We will have our annual 4th here where I live..Lake, bar-be-que, music, ect...Most people will have their families here. Saw a friend who has 16 family members coming today. Yikes. the once a year thingy..I have mine all the time. told them, stay home.. ..the weather is perfect here in Georgia...so..I'm afraid..there will be many wrecks, drownings, ect... Have a safe and happy Fourth..bonnie

Perhaps in my younger dumber days Grasshopper, but not any more. Now I'm just stupid, but not dumb.
Don't tell my son.. but..they have their Honey-holes...Like you are driving down a 4 lane highway..North/south, ect. and there is a dip....between the 2 roads. Yup, there they are..just waiting for speeders.. ..Also, hiding behind billboards, ect.....We have one..a mile away..fork in road. stop sign..most people look to their left and go thru the stop sign...Yup, he is sitting hiding behind a tree. ..I know to stop..sometimes, he may be there..and sometimes, Not..but..I know it is a very dangerous...fork..Many cars coming from the other way...Same main road for 2 miles is all double yellow lanes..Yet, everyday..I have some idiot to pass me..cause I'm driving too slow... Bonnie
