Wahoo!!
I had my cardiology appt today and an echo to look at my fluid.. Whew after 4mo.. 2 drains..and lots of worries..I am now in the clear..
My valves look good..nothing is leaking and all sounds well too!!

We backed me down a bit on the Atenalol.. I am only taking 25mg in the pm now, b/c I was struggling a bit with some depression and feeling tired and foggy..so doc thought we could safely cut down on the dose.. My goal of course is to be off of it completely!

I am a few pounds less than before the proceedure too..not that I cared..but that was nice to see.
bp still really low but ok..
all is well...
Happy news of the day!:)

YAY MARKY!!!!! You must feel like the PCH Prize Patrol was just in your driveway. And all in just 4 SHORT months;) . I bet it feels good to let out a big sigh of relief.

Hope you'll sticking around here now that they got you all fixed up. It's your type of stories that let us pre-ops now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, even if you have to take a few detours to get there!

I hope.............

Congratulations

So happy to hear that things are finally going well for you. I am so jealous that your weight is under your preop. Mine is way over. I have to find a way to start taking control of food.
Sorry you missed most of the summer but hopefully you will now have many, many more summers.

Good deal Marky! I also had some fluid issues post-op that slowed me down a ton...well to a snail's pace actually. You sure have had your share of challenges. Happy to hear about the fantastic cardio report!
Good news on the weight too. Everything is falling into place for you! Hooray!
Enjoy!

that is such good news, Marky. Congratulations.

keep an eye on your weight if you want it to stay where it is. Most of us find we are lighter at first, but it comes on back eventually. Be vigilant. And keep on doin whatever it is that is making you better. Blessins.......
