4 Years since my AVR

This time four years ago I was sitting in the hospital awaiting my AVR,
I rememnber being so afraid, I was afraid that I would not come through the surgery,
After I came out of Intensive Care my son gave me the emails sent from my VR Friends. it was wonderful to read all the good wishes and it really helped my cope,

Thanks again my friends, VR will always have a special place in my heart not just tomorrow my fourth Anniversary but always.

Thanks again for all the good wishes,

I sure hope to get too another reuinion and meet up with everyone.I emailed Hank and asked if there was any decision about the 2006 reunion and he said they were still working on it.
We have been looking for flights to the USA around Oct and the prices are not too bad ( if you book now ) so hopefully a decision will be made soon.

Great so see your Harley, Natanni, we are planning a trip to Holland on the Harley in June.

Hi Jan,

I was thinking about you during the last couple of days and decided to drop in to the VR site tonight to see if you had posted. I'm glad to see that you're still doing fine at four years post-op and on your way to 40 or so more!

I know from your last PM that you were busy over the past year and got to do a lot of traveling. Obviously the surgery hasn't slowed you or Bill down at all.

As you know, I'm coming up on #4 next month and I still remember posting to you and following your progress as my day got near. You were a big help.

Let me know if you are going to make the reunion next year. Mary and I might try to make another one to see some old friends.
