Really nice posts Kim, so true about that worry - we all go through it. So very glad to hear that you're home and moving forward!

Day 7 post surgery. Feeling pretty good. I seem to have a lot of back pain on the left side, which is normal from all I read on this site. Trying to figure out when to take medicines to have the least amount of side effects. Walking about 3 11 minute walks a day for now. Lots of smaller ones in between. Want to work up to 2 15 minute walks over the week end. Have to pace them in between the meds that make you dizzy. Thanks for all of your encouraging words! Life is moving on. Have to say I just love my husband waiting on me hand and foot...think I could drag this recovery thing on a while? lol. Not really, I feel bad not being able to contribute more. I am one lucky lady to have him.

You are a lucky lady, but don't feel bad -- he's obviously feeling lucky to have you, too, and is showing it in the best possible way! Keep on truckin', girl, it's all downhill from here!

Day 13 post op. Got to get rid of one of my medications that was making me cough since my blood pressure was so good. Spent most of the day outside because it was such a beautiful day. Coumadin levels were 4.06 today - high. Eat a large salad and don't take any today. So confusing. Not sleeping more than (4) hours at a time. Actually, this is pretty normal for me pre surgery. Walking a little further each walk. It is a little frustrating because when you start your walk you think you can go soooo far and then your body either tells you to slow down or time to go back now. I am a little impatient. Overall, I must say my recovery has been mush easier than I thought it would be. Thanks be to the Lord and all the positive vibes I get here!
