373 days later; Here's MADDIE!

My niece Madeline celebrated her first birthday last week. Perhaps some of you remember when she was born two months prematurely and weighed 2lbs. 5oz.
Maddie is still little (15 pounds) but she doesn't let size stop her. Maddie routinely attempts to balance on the "sissy" bar just so she can reach higher.
My sister Annie adores her, but admits being a mother is hard work!

I definitely remember when when she was born....and look at her now......she's a real charmer....and I bet dollars for doughnuts that even though your sister is tired at the end of the day, it's a very satisfying tiredness. We are in a neighborhood with little ones popping up all over the place. I love it!! You forget how soft baby skin is until you're there, again, with the pudgy arms and drooly smiles. What a joy!!
