Each time one of ours has their surgery I remember that whole array of emotions that engulfed me when I had my surgery and I get filled with empathy.

There is alot of truth to that comment about you almost have to have gone through OHS (or be very close to someone who has) to really understand it.

Two surgeries tomorrow...means two of our friends back down the mountain and on the way to recovery. you both will be in my thoughts and prayers. Smooth Sailin!

To Dawn and "Getz":

Godspeed to both of you. I pray that both of your surgeries are successful and that you both have a smooth and speedy recovery.

I am like Betty - each time I read that someone else on this board is facing surgery it brings back such memories of my own surgery. Good and bad. However, the thing I remember the MOST - the MOST - is the posts from the people on this board giving me encouragement before my surgery, posts asking about how I was doing after my surgery, them being SO kind and helpful to Wayne as he posted for me, and the help and advice I have been given in the ten weeks since my surgery. (tears...)

That is why I always try to get on this board and send a message to those of you who are facing surgery. I know how much it meant to me to have these people on VR.com who had been through this before cheering me on.

So, God be with you two, and KNOW that there will be many from this board who will be thinking of you and praying for you. You will be fine and we can't wait to hear the good news post surgery!!!
