Left last Thursday morning..returned home this afternoon.
We drove to Door county, Wisconsin for my Hubby's Aunt's 100th birthday. she had a great celebration at her church..with 100 friends, family...last Sunday..with over 100 cards with money to give to her church. She still lives alone..in a beautiful apartment over-looking Lake Michagan...and has plans to fly to Nevada for a free gambling trip in July ..she kept us on our toes all weekend to make sure we were on time for all events. Takes NO meds.....I am worn out from the trip Hubby just called her on telephone to tell her we were home..Very alert to the places we stayed.....Most of trip was in Illinois..(western)..passed a little thru Kentucky/Indiana..Went thru Milwaukee..(Awful traffic) Just trying to avoid Chicago..where we heard before hand how the roads are all torn up from constuction.Glad to be home in the rolling Mountains of the south. Illinois is too flat for me. ..Bonnie
