I know that wanting to get my surgery over with may sound strange to anyone who has not done this before but I think everyone here understands. I am just ready to get this over with and finally begin to get better. I have been trying to finish my book and get it to my editor on time( that would be a first, me submit anything on time) it is to be mailed by 8/01. At least my surgery being postponed will alllow me to get this done on time.
I try not to think about the specifics of the surgery itself. I have been concentrating on packing and getting someone to come feed my cats and getting all the things like my electric bill paid so I don't have to worry about any of this while I am in Houston. Now I remember why I don't like to be gone from home for more than a day or two at a time. Having to do all this is also the major disadvantage of having to travel six hours away to have surgery.
I could fly to Houston but my mother hates to fly so, we will drive.

My lap top recently died so I will not have access to a computer while I am gone but I will try to have someone, probably one of my brothers post for me while I am gone. If one of them doesn't do this I will post as soon as I can after I get home.

You know I'll certainly be with you on the way to the OR. You can do what I did, think of all of us sitting here like a bunch of worried hens waiting for word that all is well. Picture each one of our faces, think of crazy people like me. It works.

By all means, have someone post to us.

Don't be worrying about bills. They will be there before and after. If the people can't handle a little tardiness because of surgery, the heck with them, but really, if it happens just explain and they'll be more then happy to work with you.

If anything crops up that you want to ask, you know were here to help you out. :)
