Hello ... it's been 1 yr since I found you all! Andrew had his annual echo yesterday and I am happy to report GOOD NEWS that he is holding steady at MILD dilation & regurg. -- so he keeps his seat at the back of the "waiting room." I have learned so much from being here over the last year. This place is wonderful. Thank you to everyone.
Jen & Andrew :)

Well stick around, you'll either gain more knowledge or completely flip off the handle, one or the other. ;)

Good news, Jen. I hope Andrew stays in the back of the waiting room for a long time!

You have to stick around because we LOVE to hear that kind of good news. Yeah Andrew!!!!!

Jen, this is the best kind of news! Keep up the good work, Andrew! Incidentally, either you win the prize for best cute kid photographer or Andrew wins the prize for cutest kid (along with Matt and Dave, of course!)--I think you both win! Congratulations again. (I sent a PM)
Jane

Excellent news, Jen! Glad to know Andrew keeps his seat in the Waiting Room.

But, do we have enough activities and fun things to do in the Waiting Room to keep him busy? I know we have installed the best TV and stereo available. Thought someone was going to pick up some games, too, tho that wasn't me. I supplied the garage ;).

Seriously, tho, thoughts/prayers coming to you and Andrew.

Thanks for all the cheers! It's wonderful to share good news! I'll be sticking around, for sure. I can't tell you the difference in this appointment compared to any other we had because I knew what to ask, I understood the terminology, I felt so much more in control ... I must admit that I am pretty ashamed of myself for taking 5 years to get on top of things. I simply believed that this was a problem that would not need to be addressed until he was well into his middle-age life (if ever)... because that's what the docs said. Last year's appt was a real eye-opener for sure.
The info & support here is amazing.
Cort, as long as that TV plays SpongeBob, he'll be good to go! We may want to think about putting a PlayStation in at some point in the future!!
Jane, Yeah, my little guy is a pretty cute kid!!! ... but seriously, the camera is his friend. Andrew is so spirited & happy-go-lucky ... the camera seems to easily capture his personality!

Hmmm...yes, I suppose so. However, I'm not the one in charge of obtaining the games ... don't remember who is, though....

;)
