1 year Post-OP AVR

So i made it. A year. Im really pleased and happy with my life after the surgery, i feel like a new person. I know i disappeared from here for a long time but i thought it was only right to post 1 year post-op pictures because i would have liked to see them too.

For all those who have climbed the steps i have and for those who haven't, it's a struggle for your life and i'm so happy to be alive

ugh, I hope I don't have to wait for my 1 year aniversary before I can honestly say that I feel like a changed person! I will be 6 weeks post-op after OHS to fix mitral valve and I am still soooooooo tired and sore at times. I was hoping to be this "changed person" by now, but it seems to be taking much longer...

glad that you are doing so well. You are an inspiration to the rest of us.
