Hi all, just wanted to share my one year anniversary with you.

Hubby's taking me out to dinner, my favorite heart healthy meal is there.

Yesterday was loaded with memories, pre & post-op surgery memories, and I'm determined never to go through this operation again, fingers and toes are both crossed as I say that:)

This board has been a big help to me, I can't even count the ways. I'm so glad you are hear for support, answering questions, and up-to-date info, and website, Thank YOU!

I have become more involved, I joined the zipper club and have gone to hospitals to help support patients, and their family friends. I did a five mile walk-a-thon for the American Heart Association, became involved with the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in NJ.

I'm still looking for that "perfect" permenant job, I've been doing agency work, this week at an Internist office, and doing flu vaccine injections, only 70 today, but I'm enjoying the variety.

Good health to all today,

Terry40

:D

Congratulations, Terry. The first year is the toughest to get through. Sounds like you are doing great.
Will be three years for me in December.

hEY THERE, Terry - that one year anniversary is so important to all of us and once we get there, we breathe a sigh of relief "We made it". Now you, too, will feel easier within yourself. Congratulations on reaching this very, very important milestone - the first one. There will be one every single year.

Congrats Terry!
Getting that 1st yr. under your belt must feel great!:)
I'm looking forward to my 1st anniversary in about 2 wks.
Wishing you good health and many more healthy anniversaries!

Congratulations Super Woman!

What are you going to do for your second, third, forth........anniversaries?

Terry,

Congratulations on your anniversary! It is nice to have the first year behind you. I think it was finally on my anniversary that I felt like I could say I had my energy back.

Wishing you many, many more anniversaries to celebrate! Heart surgery gives us all a different perspective on the things that are important in life and on how very fragile and unpredictable our lives can be.
May God bless you!

Hi, Terry

Hi, Terry

Congrats - and you're a poster child for how, if things go right, one's life can improve HUGELY after these surgeries.

Hope I continue to improve and at 1 year I can claim as much positive change as you! And thanks for making it a point to share this with us.

GREAT

GREAT

I had to smile and say to myself " I can't wait to be saying the same next year at this time.:D

You seem to be UP and running on all cylinders and I'm glad to see that.
MY best to you

Terry,

I second Ram's statement - can't wait until it is me having my 1st anniversary and doing as well as you!!

Congratulations!!! May you have many, many, many more anniversaries to celebrate the years as they roll by!!

Have a great time tonight - and forget the heart healthy - just for tonight - have something decadent to eat! :)~

Chris
