It has been one week today since my surgery. As most of you know I have been home since Monday and I thought I would give you an update. Most of this week I have rested, walked, napped and than started all over. I should throw in there that I have read quite a few post. Today I feel almost like I haven't had anything done, except I know better.
This recovery time as been quite different than the last one 9 months ago. I'm not sure why, but and I'm going to give it some thought than post those thoughts for memebers who will be going for their first time, in hopes it will make their surgery easier.
I have to tell you a funny story, the other day I posted a reply and told everyone my 3 top reasson why the surgery was easier; Doctors, prayers and this group. My wife was reading the different post and saw this one and said, what about me? I told her it was kinda of like when I call home and she wasn't expecting me so soon and she said, Mike who? We laughed, I have been with my wife for 31 years, high school sweethearts. Thanks again for everthing you guys have done. Take care

Mike,

Great to hear all is going well. While I am glad to hear the second time around is "better" I do hope that I don't have to do it again.

Walter

WELCOME HOME, MIKE.

SO GLAD THIS SURGERY IS "BETTER THAN THE LAST." DON'T OVER DO IT, THOUGH. STAY WELL AND KEEP GETTING STRONGER.

Hi Mike,

Glad everything is still going so well for you. Looking back, guess I wished I walked more than I did. Live and learn. Next time.

I know the biggest pilar of strength during my surgery, (1 year ago tomorrow) was my wife. She was great before, during and after, I couldn't imagine what it would have been like to go through it without her. I hope one day to be able to provide that support for her.

Hi Mike-

I'm so glad to hear that you're home and things went smoothly. Great job, and hope everything from now on goes smoothly.

Mike,

Couple more weeks and I'll have my first so GREAT to hear of a smooth "transition".

Paul
