1 less worry

Got my last filling and the ok from my dentist prior to having heart surgery on the 20th.

During discussions i was prompting him to do as much as he needed to do as i would be on warafin post surgery and it would complicate things.

His response was, not that much, i'd rather you kept taking your warafin and i had to deal with a little more bleeding rather than you run the risk of reducing your medication.

Guess i have a good and knowlegable dentist so thats one less thing to search for post op....

It's starting to sound like dentists have it more together about coumadin than MDs.

I love my dentist too. I think he could actually manage my Coumadin better than anyone! I'm so glad that you found one that will take good care of you!:
