Hi folks, Where do I go from here? I had a tissue valve (oct 12, 2012) but still keep having these arrithmias 5 to 10 days after conversion. Trying to stay in rhythum with metropolo and amiodarone alone does not seem to work. Cardioversion works good (resting HR of 58) but will not last...

Has anybody experienced ankle swelling as long as 8 wks after AVR (Oct 11) I am taking 40 MG lasix and my cardiologist says it will pass but this seems to long to me to maintain a constant swelling?

Gym Guy, I had my AVR surgery on 10/11/2012. I stoped the amirodarone after 4 wks then the HR went from 65 to 97 BTM. My cardiologist put me back on amiodarone 3 wks ago but as of yet I have not seen any change.

Hi all, My doctor has put me on 400 MG amiodrone daily in hopes of getting a 97 resting HR to come down. I have been on this for three weeks and is still about the same. Will this come down if given more time? Has anybody been through a similar problem? Thanks Jim

Hi all, My cardiologist put me on400mg amardrone and warfin before thanksgiving and a week later my HR has not changed Blood pressure is normal. Iam nausas and have a constant headache. any ideas on how to get back to sinus rythum. Thanks for comments
