Blood Thinner Meds---What's your experience with them?

I was 38 when I had my aortic valve replaced with the an on-x valve. So for two years I've been on blood thinner and it really is just like taking a daily vitamin. I have no side effects and I live virtually the same way I did before the operation. Every 2 months I get my INR checked (takes...

Daily impact to your life from being on blood thinners...?

Coumadin is no big deal at all to my lifestyle. I work hard and play hard with young and energetic kids. I live no differently before vs. after. To me, it's just like taking a multi-vitamin each day.

Recommendations for surgeons at Cleveland Clinic?

Where do you find rankings of centers ranked higher than CCF for Adults with CHDs? I had OHS when I was 5 to repair a bi-cuspid aortic valve. Now I am 38 and needing a replacement. I was thinking strongly CCF (also considered Hopkins), but would love to hear where you think I may get better results.
