    How long before I can drive my car ?

    Hey there! My doctor told me 6 weeks and yesterday it was that...so i was so excited and drove. After that little drive was sore that night on the my speed bump area. So take it easy...still sore today from it as well.

    Present to myself!

    Very sweet ride! Had one myself and bought it off a cop in town. So for the first couple of months i never had a speeding ticket! Wishing i still had it, instead of my mini van! Love the colour great choice.

    is this normal?

    Thanks, normofthenorth... My skin does feel stretched out and do not like to think about how my surgeon cut(saw) through my sternum! I also wished i never saw that video about my surgery. Thats just me and doing my best to heal!

    Thanks, last night i could feel it and now this morning not so much. I wonder if i was doing to much to make it swell and sore? As i am have been doing daycare already, but have not lifted anything more than i suppose too! I like to call it"speed humps" lol.

    My "speed bump" is not red, its the same colour as my skin. Its just alittle swollen and it feels bruised. Thank-you as i would never have been able to sleep. I will check again in the morning.

    Had my surgery July 23rd and right above the top of my incision on my chest is a sore bump. It feels like its fluid. Has anyone had this? And is this normal?

    Hey there! Glad to hear from you Kailin! Day 19 for me and sleeping at night is much better than the first couple of weeks! Mine was my back so i bought a massager and it helped alot. Take it easy and i believe that you will feel better soon!

    Hey there! I am 2 weeks recovering from a tissue valve replacement. I was told because i am 38 yrs it would only last 10 yrs. Dr. had mentioned because of the calcuim build up in younger patients.

    Hi there! I remember the day before my surgery, they gave me a little pill to help me sleep. The next day was my surgery and was kinda excited??? Its 2 weeks today and the only thing that i battle everyday is sleeping through the night! See you on the other side!

    Not allowed to eat n e thing for 2 days, only ice cubes and ginger- ale. Don"t think i could ever drink ginger-ale again! They told me when they take out the pace maker it will not hurt only feel weird! why do we trust people that have never been attached to one! Will never forget the pace maker!
