pellicle as you know am not to much into stats, but gotta say that's impressive stuff,

cardiologists arnt experts in anything, wow you must have met sum ***** ones then, the ones ive dealt with have been top notch, I do wonder sometimes when we can talk to top cardio and surgeons that we take they opinions so lightly, they are mostly the experts in the field, its like your car...

I agree pellicle, nobody wants repeat ops for fun, but some choose to go along with having a re op instead of warfarin for very good reasons, in saying that if I was young I would properly go mech , just my opinion

always hated the tissue v mech thing, to me its not a contest, its two great ways of staying alive, both have good and bad points hence the sometimes heated debates, hopefully in time there will be a valve what lasts a lifetime and does not need warfarin,

your best bet for no more re ops would be mech although that's not 100%, plus you will be on warfarin the rest of your life which is the trade off,
