    sometimes we can get weighed down with stats etc, some will live till 80 some till 60, that's life for everbody, till the great man says its time for me to go I will live life to the full and carry eating the chocolate lol

    nothing, went in for a health chk, doc heard murmur told me to arrange to see cardio, I felt as fit as a fiddle

    well nat whichever you choose will be the right decision for you ok, have another talk with your cardio and surgeon after all these are the experts who have dealt with hundreds if not thousands of cases, good luck

    agree but if mech was so far more positive why is tissue used and recommened just as much, why do so many people choose tissue above mech , why because some just don't want to be on anti coags, why do many cardio and surgeons disagree on whats best?, because imo there is no one clear winner...

    absol spot on knot, I may be wrong but most on here seem to have a mech and lots of the threads are about warfarin etc , a lot who choose tissue seem to just go and a lot don't come back, I think knot like you say ask 12 courts and you get 12 different verdicts,

    hi nat, at 38 I would lean towards a mech, but the choice is yours, also have a good chat with your cardio and surgeon, good luck

    agian no taking a anti bio isn't a great deal, and when I have tooth extractions extrac etc I have them, but on a clean I don't, again my dentist is flexable in this matter, I personally don't see a problem in this, I have gum problems which unfort means I bleed sometimes when I brush my teeth...
