    Latest echo question

Hey All I had my 6 month echo yesterday and had a question about a reading. 6 months ago I had a Aortic opening of 1cm2 and mean/peak of 27/43. Yesterday I had a Aortic opening of 1.1 cm2 and mean/peak of 43/54. I couldn't get a answer from my doc so I was wondering if the opening hasn't...

    Latest Echo

Well a bit of a update.... Had a chat with my FAA Cardiologist the other day at my 6 month exam. It's funny but 6 months ago I asked about TAVR and he said it was for older more at risk patients. This time he brought it up acting like it was the best thing ever. He said he had 2 patients...

    In the waiting room activities...

Hey all: I went from the diagnosis of 1.3cm2 to 1.0cm2 in a years time. I have always been pretty active and now I am almost afraid of doing anything. I have curtailed my workouts way back along with being a little hesitant to enter into interpersonal physical activity. My Doc says I'm fine...

Thanks Jill. Just hoping to get a few more years before I have to have surgery. Looks like there is great technology on the horizon.

    Just diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis

Thank you all for the feedback. I am a bit freaked out a bit still and will take some time to digest. Guess I'll take one day at a time and see how it goes. My biggest fear is actually not being able to continue my running and hiking and other strenuous outdoor activities. I am fighting the...
