    I had a liver function test today 2 weeks post op, and my ALT results are still elevated (not massively so) I have to go back in 2 weeks for another test to see if they're still high. If they are, apparently I'll have to go for an ultrasound scan on the liver I wonder if taking paracetamol...

    delayed by over a year because of covid glad to get it over and done with at last although the process is nothing to worry about really high end medicine is pretty amazing these days

    aortic valve (replaced with a mechanical) aortic root as indicated on the CT scan was OK, so they left that. ascending aortic and hemiarch replaced This is just what they told me would need doing from the CT scan I had last summer...so no surprises I'm still relatively young (47) in good shape...

    had my own room the night before surgery and after i left ICU and was put on the ward ! Felt like private health care NHS came good Liverpool HCH is rated as one of Europe's leading cardiac centres for a reason 👍
