Long under my arm,and other puncture wounds There was pain but nothing over the counter pain...

    any one with this scar !!!

    I think mdapa maybe right, I just had mitral valve repair surgery, I had on incision in my wrist, and one lower in my groin I was told if I remembered correctly that it was for something to do with bypassing the heart and lungs hope made this sound correctly!!!!

    I was going to ask that question, I'm heading into mass general hospital Monday morning for mitral valve repair surgery , wasn't sure how quickly I'd be able to walk around or use the tread mill our treadmill is great just a walking treadmill hope to use it's as soon as possible

    The Dr will do what ever I want,he does think he can repair it,and like yourself I have a choice of valves if after he's in there and thinks repair is not an option,he did mention it maybe more difficult to regulate but he will do what ever I ask, from what posters on the forum have said taking...

    Dr, and nurse practitioner said I should not need another surgery....... However if I did it would be many years later many years later I could be in my 70s-90s that is what I'm getting hung up on

    So I've had my surgical consultation, Dr says there a 95% chance he can repair my mitral valve, my question ,after thinking about it,was great,no more surgeries, but is it a forever surgery, they said basically yes but by chance there were issues down the road there are less evasive Surgeries...

    Thanks,just had the surgical consult, Dr says there's a 95% chance it can be repaired so at this point I'm leaning toward a mach valve he gets in there and sees that he can't repair it

    Thanks , phenobarbital 3 times a day and tegrotal 3 times a day ,do you need the doses????

    Thanks for your response,the seizure disorder is due to scare tissue from an old accident ,the Dr aren't sure if I even need I anymore but I would have to stop work and driving for 6 weeks and be off the meds, no seizures since1979-1980 I will check to see if what I'm taking is p450 inhibitor
