    Bumps around chest scar

    How often are we testing?

    I voted once a week, but sometimes I need to test more than once depending if I had to adjust my dose or I am on any medication that interacts with warfarin.

    Than you, Chuck. I didn’t realize that though my INR is low, I’m still protected by lovenox! INR is still 1.5 today, hoping I’ll remain protected until after tomorrow when I’ll resume the lovenox! May you stay well and healthy. 🙏

    My surgeon, after my surgery, told me that he removed my left appendage for the same reason. My surgery was in 2008 and I had two valves replaced. Good luck. Since you’re interviewing another surgeon (which is great idea), ask him. Good luck.

    Thank you, Chuck C. I sent a message and a telephone call to his office, but no response yet! I’ll call again today if I don’t hear from him. Before tooth extraction, my surgeon was happy with lowering my INR to 2 and I did I it and all went well. I definitely cannot stop warfarin for 7 days!
