Trip from New Mexico to Colorado Springs.

On Sunday I drove back from a Jemez Springs Thanksgiving. I made the trip alone, which did provide the opportunity to keep an eye out for possible pictures. This is a picture taken near San Louis, which is the oldest town in Colorado.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I would imagine that the people on this forum have become experts at comprehending the mountains of blessings that many of us have received.

    Pill boxes

Dear Lionheart: I especially love option 2. An elegant and 100% safe solution to the problem.

    Pill boxes

I wonder if anyone here has a solution to this problem? A great majority of people find that a little pill box or tray that stores medication in dated compartments is a great help in confirming that you took today's medicine. That has been true for me. But after my life changed to include very...

    Creating an ePub book.

This post probably doesn't apply to most people, but I still think it is worth sharing. Many of us have talked about the advantages/dis-advantages of ePub books (the kind of books you can read on an iPad or Kindle). I have just discovered that I can easily create ePub books using my Apple...

Really trying to not blow a gasket... (sort of graphic - re: cut/blood)

I don't know if this can work for anyone else, but I start each week at 4mg, alternating each day. I find it much easier to keep track when I know every Sunday is 4, every Monday is six, and so forth. Saturday is 4, as well as Sunday. Despite the two consecutive days of 4mg I have only tested...

    Good News - I think. . .

Very good news. And, i would feel the same relief you have expressed in knowing that some failure of the pacemaker doesn't have to be a life or death matter.

Does anyone have a few million dollars burning a hole in their pocket?

So sorry, Freddie. I was afraid that -maybe- when we got past the first million you would lose interest in the house.

Does anyone have a few million dollars burning a hole in their pocket?

Please note the mention of a "few million". I could check for you, but I don't think an offer of 1 million would get you through the door. And the pool is the most spectacular I have ever seen, with it's own pool house, and a spectacular mountain view.

Does anyone have a few million dollars burning a hole in their pocket?

The real estate agent who sold us our home in Colorado Springs is placing her personal home on the market. She and I are in the process of setting things up for me to do a picture brochure. The inside of the house is everything you might expect from looking at the outside. This is just a...

    Places to go !!

That is really funny. I guess because I wanted it to be true, I first thought you were posting about coming to Colorado. If you guys ever want to, just drop a note!

    Update: Cort needs prayers

So glad to hear Cort is off the ventilator. That is a really great sign, and I am sure Cort loved getting off that thing.

    Three year old problem solving!

My three year old grandson, is very athletic (in my very prejudiced opinion), but spends a lot of time playing video games, especially a particular driving game. I have been bugging him about getting more exercise, and less video time. Later in the day he called me up to see his solution to...

    Mystery Photo

It involves water, but nothing resembling a dam. In the rural mountains of Northern New Mexico water is a precious resource. A challenge to human ingenuity is how to move the water from where you find it to where you need it. Part of the legal or governing answer to this question was the...
